Introductory English Language Arts

Self Intro.

This is our first presentation in this English Class, we need to make slides to intraduct myself. I feel somehow much ok to what I done, especially to the animation which is based on my last presentation with many improvements. The biggest issues in the presentation is I should optimize my pic to smaller so that they load correctly :(((, IDK why they just don't show up fast!!!!! This task helped other classmates to learn about me, so we can cooperate better together in the future. I think I can do it better by not looking to slide that much, so it contains more eye contacts to the audiences and speak a bit slower to make it more clear.

ONE MINUTE SPEECH

In this assignment, we need to tell about an old person's information in one to two minute, for me I choose my grandma on my mom's side. This assignment make us think about how they help and placed in our live. This time I didn't prepare well enough, so I can feel my grammar mistake myself, so in the next time I should think more before speaking to be able to make this more smoof.

This story tell us a boy getting mugged by people from other school, but he tried to protect himself my pretending a trickster to scared other people away in the second time, he have a good creativity to scared them away. The practice form ESLEO is important to this reading this time, so I can read it more smoothly then the past.
This reading is related to SDG10, Everyone should be equal and there shouldn't be any bullying, they are caused by inequalities, building a equal environment in aq important mission for everyone.

Fish Cheeks is a story telling about inequality, THe girl in the story internalized that American culture is better than her Chinese culture when she like an american boy, so one day after a event her mother thought her she can/should be proud of the different with others. She learned a lot form this, after this she overcome her shame and this is an important step for reducing inequalities.

We can actually link the story and the class work we done with SDG4 : QUALITY EDUCATION. We can see that in the story many kids face inequality issues, the important way to reduce inequalities is by education, for example in "Fish Cheeks" her mother thought her to be proud of the difference with others, and after this lesson she overcome her shame and to be happier in her daily life.

Influential Person
Essay

There are always people that are important to you in your life, humans are a highly socialized creature, we learn many new skills through other people, so friendship always plays an important role. In this essay I am going to talk about one of my best friends who is highly influential to my life and I will tell you about some examples of our conflict, interactions and influence on me.

The person I want to talk about is Albert. He worked with me a lot in primary school. We have a business group in school, being the only business group that is kind of approved by the school and founded by me. It is very important for me. He helped me to create and sell many products, and gave many good ideas such as reselling pokemon cards which became the most profitable product.

During this friendship, we almost have no conflict, which is actually amazing. We never say bad things about each other. I can say the only problem we had before is that sometimes my teacher will throw away my stuff which contains stuff from or owned by my friend. This problem affects the trust between us.

I chose my friend to be the most influential person because I always care about friendship a lot and that I used to spend most of the time with them. They really affect me and help me a lot with my interests like giving me many ideas or directly helping me to make my products. I am really thankful to them.

We are doing research and creating a presentation about hobbies and interests. Hobbies is an important part in everyone's life, it help you to boost your confidence, happiness, and also to help you to reduce stress. It give you the power to keep learning new stuff and going forward.

My Best Friend

Many of my friends start at kindergarten, I used to meet them a lot at school and almost every weekend, until now we still meet quite a lot on the weekend and usually in my home. The one who has the most friendship is called Sean. We often play games on switch, phone or poker cards together on weekends. We always have a happy time playing together and we all enjoy it. In the past we almost always stayed together and held hands in school, even going to the restroom, so our friendship grew strong over time. Now it is the 10th year of us being friends, which is more than half of my life.

Travel Itinerary

We designed a 3 day travel plan to Cleveland Ohio (USA). We research on famous restaurant and places, and considered the distance / traffic to create a good plan. This helped us to understand culture or more contries.
